How to Take a Practice TestOur tests are designed to help you build and practice different skills and prepare for important exams. Each test varies in the number of questions, type of questions, and timing. Click or tap " Start Test" when you are ready to begin a test. If you don't see the start button, you'll need to register or log in. Make sure that you read the test description and instructions carefully before you begin. You have the option to take most tests in one of three modes: Learner, Practice, and Simulation. Read the description to see which mode best fits your needs. Click " Start Test" to get to your first page of questions. Be sure to read each question carefully before selecting an answer, and use the " Next" and " Previous" buttons to move back and forth between pages. If you cannot complete a test in one sitting, select " Save and Finish Later ." This saves your test to your My Center portfolio, where you can return to the test and finish it later. When you have finished your test, click " Score My Test" to submit your responses. If you want to review your responses before you score your test, you'll have the opportunity to do so. When you're ready, click " Score" to submit. The score report will display your total score and a breakdown of those scores by subject area or topic. You can use this information to identify your areas of strength and weakness. You may also see additional recommendations based on your test scores. Use the key to help you determine why these resources were recommended for you. If your test includes self- scored items, be sure to click the " Self- Scored Items" tab to view instructions for scoring those questions. When you're ready, click " View Answers" to review your responses and see detailed answer explanations for each question.
