Materials borrowed from the library may be returned to the Circulation
Desk or to any Delgado Library Book Return.
All materials are circulated
from the Circulation Desk and are subject to overdue fines.

Reserve materials (books, articles, dvds, etc.) have been set aside at the library by faculty members for use by the students of Delgado Community College. The materials are owned by the faculty member who placed them on reserve or the library. These are high-use materials with a shorter loan period to accommodate the demand.
Most reserve materials are limited to 1-2 hours in-library use only while some items may circulate for up to 1-2 days.
Please be mindful of the loan period.
- Check to see if your book is on reserve. Follow the procedure below:
- Click on "Reserve Desk" above.
- In the box provided, you may Lookup items by Instructor, Course ID or Course name.
- Type in the information for your search and click on the appropriate button.
You may also limit your search to which campus you would like to search.

Delgado Community College is a member of LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network. With a LOUIS Reciprocal Borrowing card, faculty, administrative staff, and students may borrow materials from other participating libraries. Applications for a LOUIS Reciprocal Borrowing card are available through the Library Administrative Office.
LOUIS Reciprocal Borrowing card borrowers must abide by the host library’s circulation policies and procedures. This includes length of loan period, fines and fees for overdue and lost materials, and other special restrictions such as copyright. Users will present a valid LOUIS Reciprocal Borrowing Card issued by their home library and provide a picture I.D. To view which schools you may borrow from, please click here.
To apply for a LOUIS Reciprocal Borrowing card, fill out the Application form or contact your campus Librarian.

Books and videos may be renewed twice at the Circulation Desk or through ISAAC, the online catalog, if there are no holds on the titles.
Online renewal access procedures are as follows:
Go to ISAAC
Click on 'My Account' on the toolbar.
Select 'Renew My Materials'.
Type Your User ID (LOLA #) and PIN (birthdate-ddmmyy)
Click on 'List Charged Items'
Follow the instructions provided on the page.

ILLiad is a software program that automates the ILL department's Lending and Borrowing functions and enables us to process your requests more quickly and efficiently. What this also means to you as an ILL user is that you will be able to submit your interlibrary loan requests online and track the status of your requests at anytime day or night. Users will also be able to receive and download electronic copies of articles that are sent electronically from our lenders.
In order to request materials through interlibrary loan, all users must register through ILLiad, the interlibrary loan system. After registering, users can request interlibrary loan materials through ILLiad, check the status of their requests, and view a history of requests submitted through ILLiad.

Online Printing
Printing is available from the Library computer labs with the use of a Delgado I.D. card. Black & White prints are 5 cents per page.

All deposited funds are available to the student as needed; however, refunds are not issued under any circumstances.
Scanners are available at the following locations: City Park, West Bank, Jefferson, Charity, and Sidney Collier. You have the option to scan to print, email, flash drive, google drive, and a QR code.

A selection of periodicals is available for use in the library area ONLY.
Scanners are available at each Delgado Community College Library.
