Group Study Room Policy

  • Time Limit: Two Hours. The Study Rooms can be used with no prior reservation and will have a time limit of two hours, or until the next scheduled reservation.  If there is no existing reservation or a wait list, the room can be renewed for an additional two hours or until the next scheduled reservation. You will need your Delgado I.D. or another approved, valid photo I.D.  to check out a study room.  A minimum of two people are required to use a Group Study Room.  One person may check-out a group study room for an interactive, live, audio-video conference, meeting, or presentation.  Group study rooms are not available for single person activities.
  • Advance Booking: You can book a Study Room in advance if the time/date is available. You have the option to renew if there is no waitlist or another scheduled reservation at the City Park Library, River City Site Library, and Sidney Collier Site Library.. Existing reservations will supersede any walk-ins regardless of the two-hour time limit. *If you are more than 15 minutes late, you forfeit your reservation of the Study Room.*
  • Food and Drink: No food or drink is allowed.
  • This is a quiet study area; please remember to keep your voice and/or music or video sound to a low level.  Groups or individuals not conforming to policies will be asked to leave.
  • You are responsible for any and all damages that occur to the room while it is checked out to you. No exceptions.
  • No additional chairs can be moved into group study rooms.  All Study Rooms have a maximum occupancy, which is defined by the total chairs assigned to the room.
  • Patrons must check-in and check-out at the Circulation Desk.
